Please also try to reset your login cache using the TOCRepair tool in your TOC directory.

Clearing my login cache with the TOCRepair tool did not work.

Same with me.
Opa advised me via PM to try clearing my login cache, but it made no difference.
And before the TOC team ask, yes I am entering the correct email address (I have emails, so I know it's correct),
and I am spelling it correctly taking care with upper & lower case letters.

I created a new account, which worked fine, the only problem I had was that linking was really slow.

For now, I don't really know, why the server doesn't recognize your Email, cause it's in the database. But it's good to know that you was able to create a new account.

Do you use your e-mail address with the same writing you registered with? I mean if you registered "blah@whee.org" try to not type "Blah@Whee.org", maybe it is a problem with case sensitivity...

I can't speak for anyone else, but for myself, let me remind you of what I said :

I tried creating a new account but using same email address, with no luck. It responded that there already was an account under that name.

Creek, I used a 2nd email account (I have quite a few)
They are easy to set up, so you should have no trouble

Have you tried Password recovery with the same address? It would be really strange when it says one time "This account does not exist" and another time "This account already exist".
