Why does the folder go in AppData? I know how to find it, but it still seems strangely hidden. Isn't there a way it can just go into Documents like MOUL? I know the Minkata shard uses Documents and even makes its own folder there. For here it could be a folder called "Uru Live TOC" or something like that.

The H'uru team changed it from Documents to AppData a few months ago because it technically fits much more into AppData (as it is data stuff) than into the personal documents folder.

P.S.: Jericho, feel free to play with the login and please try login in (even if it does not work) a few times. I am running a small analysis this night.

Developer's choice... I have 4 shards on my system... 2 put local data in Documents and two in %LOCALAPPDATA%. I suppose the intent is to not step on each other.

Not a good choice on Vista and Win7 systems... you would probably have write/file creation/delete permission issues that will never end.

I have a disk with a beta of Win8 on it but I detested the touchpad interface so much, I ripped it out of my desktop and stuck it in a drawer somewhere. I suspect the same problem will exist there as well. I think there has been a newer version of Win8 out since that developer preview so maybe I will see if I can get Uru to run on it.

OK, I got in. But before you get excited: I tried last night before the latest update. Woke up at about 2am with an idea. I had altered the OS compatability mode recently for TOC. Can't remember why had set it to W2K but I put it back to normal XP back. Still didn't work. Then I put it on Win98ME and, voila, got in.

P.S.: The unleashed framerate looks awesome. Finally my grafics board isn't bored to death anymore
