More Information on Tardis, Please

Post by calroger »

It has been several weeks since the Tardis was introduced. I think most people have seen it at one location or another. Personally, I have seen it at four locations:
Spoiler:
In front of museum; near the library nexus terminal; ferry terminal; tunnel under great stairs
. I am told that other people have found six locations. Every time I try to approach the Tardis, it "beams out" to somewhere else.

Can someone please provide the following information:
1. Locations where the Tardis "lands"
2. Is there a fixed clock schedule
3. Is it possible to enter the booth and take a ride similar to the boat?
4. Are the physics of the Tardis similar to the boat in that it has its own environment separate from the rest of the cave?
5. Any other detailed information pertaining to the behavior of this mysterious object.
6. Why does the Tardis "run away (beam out)" whenever I approach it?

I have searched all the locations that I know to be part of COD but apparently I have missed some.

Any help or enlightenment would be appreciated.

Cal

May I just add one suggestion? When Cal's questions get their answer, would it be possible to put it inside a "spoiler tag"? - Not everyone wants necessarily to be given all the solutions - exploration is still fun for some.

In this sense, Cal, could you please edit your text and hide the explicit parts? - i.e. the Tardis locations you've spotted so far.
Or maybe the Forum may consider having a Spoiler Section, as many others do, and transfer this thread there?

Which reminds me of a similar issue: a few weeks ago a friend, who is new to Uru, complained that some players were trying to give him 'help' and explain things without him asking for it. So he had to flee and return later in the night in order to explore freely without intrusions.

I know there are a lot of helpful fellow explorers with their best intentions, but maybe they are not fully aware that there may be others who prefer to discover things on their on.

Thats true, I meet some players who are really flashy by offering help to me. And talking about tricks and solutions of the game. Thats not very nice!
Best is, to get aut of there way using the IGNORE-LIST, I think. Then they can talk about what they want :D

:D
