Mystery Stairway in COD

I have found a mystery stairway in Cod. The steps are solid as are the floors at the top and bottom.

These stairs are located adjacent to the top flight of the grand stairway on the ferry terminal side of the Takotah building.

I think I have seen this, but where did you find it? Near Takotah Roof top?

I was "floating around" above the rock face next to the great stair when I spotted it. I then used the "air stroke" to swim over to it. The two floors I was able to walk on appear to be recent additions.

I found the same stairway in Ae'guera but it is not solid. Every place on the stairway or floors where I tried to nofloat, I fell through. This leads me to think someone was trying to develop something here in COD.

Nicole, if you know where the floating journey is located, the stairway is located below that point.

I do notice that there are a lot of hidden spots. We just love finding them.

This stairway is part of the Tokotah buildings. It hasn't been made solid by Cyan. It's one of their many unfinished projects. At the top of those stairs, the balcony textures are unfinished.

It's like the upper section (where the disco is) over Tokotah Courtyard in the stalagmite range. One could think it's TOC team who carved this whole section and made a floor and even made a spiral path in a high stalagmite. Nope... It's all Cyan's work. TOC team only made it solid and add a bridge.

I would say 95% of what you can explore in COD was made by Cyan in the first place. The roofs, the balconies, the locations, the stairs, the rooms, etc. The major issue with Ae'gura is that we can only travel through less than 5% of the whole surface Cyan made which is really a robbery . In COD, we can almost visit everything (with jump command)

This stairway already exists in TPOTS, and I agree with Annabelle - it's part of the extensions Cyan had planned for the game but were never realised.
