It appears that the DRC has been careless in their restoration efforts and have left a modern artifact in the CoD. The object is a Rubik's Cube puzzle game. I won't say where I found it but the photo I put on the CoD imager probably gives it away.
I guess that's not really an artifact but rather an "Easter EGG!"

That cube's been there for quite a while and as far as I'm concerned it's just there for people to find something when they're exploring. Same goes for the Relto page, the boat ride and the Bahro cuckoo clock.
