You misread my original post, it did not say my account does not exist. It says: "Authentication failed, please try again. Invalid account name or password."

I tried old password, new password, old & new password with upper case, lower case, avatar name instead of email address, etc. Have cleared login cache several times. Nothing works in this fashion. I have not opened a new account with a different email address, as it would eliminate all the books, etc., accomplished under previous avatar, plus the email account would be "fictitious" or not one I currently use.

Any ideas??

I tried retrieve password for the email address that won't work,
And as I said in a previous post, I get the "does not exist" message.

Today I also tried using four different languages to no avail.

P.S. Isn't it kind of confusing mixing my posts and Alien's, since our "symptoms" are different?

Creek I can't log in with an email address & password I know is correct,
Isn't that your problem too? That is why you are posting in THIS thread?

The only reason it's confusing is that the TOC team don't say who they are asking

For it seems that you both has the same problem, so I ask you both. ALien, you said if you use passwordrecovery it gives a "Does not exist" error...Have you tried to create a new account with the same address?

No I haven't because if it did work I'd lose the avatar I've been playing and couldn't make a new avatar with the same name as it would still be an active avatar on the database.

Forgive me if this sounds rude, but please stop asking "have you done this?" (sometimes even though I state I have)
and please just fix the problem.

The next post I want to see from any TOC team member on this is "It is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience."

It is not yet fixed, sorry for the following inconvenience.

The problem is, no one exept of you and Creek seems to have these problems. Because of this we have to ask you to do this, otherwise we can't find the problem.

No-one except creek and myself ... as far as you know.
I happen to know janeerah has the same problem and therefore others may have it too.
Just because they don't post on here, does not mean everything is ok.

If they don't post here we assume that everything is ok... ha s jahneera and the others solved this problem?

I got your PM, Opa and I got an email telling me you PM'd me,
but no email with a link to change my password

Edit : Just realised that if you've reset my password and I don't get an email with a link,
has it changed to something I don't know?
