Did I misunderstand - - -
I thought there were supposed to be lots of differences in this cave.
I have been to the Hood and the City and I haven't seen anything different.
Where are the differences?
Is this cave different?

Read all the forum. Many, differences. Try City of Dimensions. Also, try the different emotes and take a ride on the boat. Many surprises. Take your time.

Re: Is this cave different?
Besides the CoD, much of the difference is in how much the off line stile Ki chat comands (see herehttp://the-open-cave.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=8) open up all levels to exploration in different ways. Remember, we are a work in progress, but it keeps getting better every day.
Good luck,and have fun.

Very well said. Just enjoy all the stuff. Think positive and you will enjoy all the magic. Take the boat ride. While on the boat ride, do the following.
Get to the front of the boat. Type in /float. Then type in /jump 1000. Enjoy the trip.

Re: Is this cave different?
I guess I was really hoping for some changes to the places which have become soooooo boring in the regular MOULa.
I was hoping you had opened gates to the stairs, opened doors to new rooms, made new earthquake holes that create new passages.
In short - Real Changes to the city - which has become so well known and so boring.
-----
All those circular verandas beg for something like benches, tables, and statues or potted plants.
So, consider this --- Right now, people have to stand around and talk.
Wouldn't it be nice if they could sit down in a circle and talk.
So, how about adding a circle of Benches in various places in the city.
-----
If I had one wish it would be to remove all the barricades and let the explorer discover what is beyond them.
(Oh sure - I would leave them along the dangerous cliffs.)
But there are barricades in front of stairs, doorways, and passages that look safe.
(I would like to go into the concert hall.)
And if you walk into the painting of a door or you step off the edge of the solid walkway --- surprise! ---
Then you know why there is a barricade in the regular MOULa. But that is part of the fun, isn't it.

Re: Is this cave different?
We don't change the city itself. We make the changes in the "City of Dimensions". There are some removed barricades and opend stairs. We also working on reopen some other places. But this is very much work, so it need a lot of time. We are also only two modelers in our team (Filtik and me). If some of you are good in 3d modeling and want to help us, write me a PM with a picture of a model from you.

I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to make you annoyed at me.
I had been told that TOC had new and different changes all over the place.
I thought all the new changes were in the Uru that we all know and love.
(But now I see there aren't any changes.)
When I asked about differences in the city nobody told me about the "City of Dimensions".
What is that? Where is it???????

Well, Nicole told you before, in this same thread, in her first reply to your question.
You will find the City of Dimensions in your Nexus.

Re: Is this cave different?
I didn't understand that the "City of Dimensions" was a different place.
I thought she had a different name for "The City" (Ae'gura).
I just figured you had different names for all the places in The Open Cavern.
Now you're telling me it's a completely different place!
And this place is not in any book or indicated on any chart.
Why didn't somebody put up a sign?
Here's my suggestion for a sign in Bevin:
You can ignore all the old stuff in this game
because we haven't changed anything out here.
All the changes are in the "City of Dimensions".
Go find the Nexus book and transport to the Nexus.
Hunt for the "City of Dimensions" and click on it.
This should help all the other people who don't know about the "City of Dimensions".

Re: Is this cave different?
WRONG! We did not only change the city in the cod. We changed everything we thought is cool. Just open your eyes ingame and/or read some sticky forum posts!
Btw, I don't think it's such a great advertisement to say:
"We changed something in the following age... Just ignore everything else."
For those who prefer the original city. They still have got it. But there's a modified one too. Other changes are global or client improvements. I don't wanna list everything here again. We have got update news, sticky threads... and URU is an adventure/exploration game.
