The door by the Rubik's Cube

Post by calroger »

Annabelle mentioned a button in the room adjacent to the cube that closes a door. I found the button and pushed it and the door closed. Pushed it again and, voila, the door opened. I pushed it again to close it. I then spoke some magic words (advanced KI commands) and left the room without opening the door. Before leaving, I verified the door was closed. I then linked back to Relto and back into COD again. Upon entering the space where the door is located, the door was open. There was nobody else in the cave at the time. The only explanation I can come up with is that the door defaults to open when you link to COD.

Any other theories?

That's quite simple, if there is nobody in the age (for some time) the game server (read: age server) shuts down and will be restarted when a player joins. The door is reset in that process too.
Btw, that is a good thing because you're not supposed to open the private room in the pub from the outside, but having it closed forever would be bad too.
