Just that... why is there a separate City with original settings, and a separate CoD that can only be accessed through the Nexus?
There may be technical reasons for this... but to me an original shared City, a private City accessed through the Relto book and a better City (CoD) relegated to a link next to the Vothol Gallery (the book has a picture of the Nexus instead of a picture of the CoD) is a suburban sprawl, and confusing. And it all has to be maintained.
Please advise... hoping for greater understanding.
Why did not CoD replace the MOULa-type Ae'gura?

COD can be accessed through the Nexus and also by typing /cod
COD is filled with a lot more "magic". You can climb some of the mountains and can even go all the way to the arch if you are careful. Lot of different things can be done in COD that can't be done in regular Ae'gura.

The world is my stage.

I suppose you're right with your assumption that technical reasons might make a replacement
of the original city impossible ...
The original city of Ae'gura is so interwoven into the game, and as the whole shard and our clients
are actually based on the complete MOULa installation, maybe you remember that you copied the
complete MOULa content into your TOC MOUL shard folder, and with every update of MOULa you
will have to do that again, it might be technically not possible to maintain a maybe totally differently
coded city like the CoD as the main city and thus replace it, but I might be wrong, this is just my own
speculation ... Let's see what our TOC team will tell us ...
Just see it as a wonderful additional fan created content like any other fan age ...

Hardly no one accesses COD thru their Nexus. Most explorers use the /cod shortcut whereever they are inside the game. COD is not the main city and it has never been made with the intention of replacing the good old Ae'gura. COD is a copy of Ae'gura in which the TOC Team applied hacks to remove some collision walls, to add solidity where it was void, to add an elevator to reach "already there but void" upper platforms over the city on the stalagmite range, and to add a boat ride. There are other modifications as well.
You have to realize that a MOSS-based shard like TOC MOUL is under the Open-Source license which prohibits such acts like modifying assets owned by Cyan. I don't know how they can keep COD alive (maybe Cyan doesn't see any harm...anyway...that's a bonus for us let me say that
) but they certainly cannot remove any age like Ae'gura from their shards, that's prohibited.

Re: Why did not CoD replace the MOULa-type Ae'gura?
Removing/Replacing Ae'gura would not really be an issue.
To be honest, all of the CoD mods where originally created for the city back in TPotS time. However, when we tested our stuff, it became confusing very quickly and besides, there are a lot of people who still like the original untouched Ae'gura. So we agreed to move our changes to a second city in order to have a special place for city mods.
