The Open Cave

COD opened up a stairway that climbs up two flights from the courtyard to an open area . There is an exit on the other side of the open area with a short flight of stairs leading up and joining into the path leading from the back of the Hall of Kings to the Library. It is very dark in the open area and by the third stairway. Consequently, it is possible to miss the stairs and fall into a break in the scenery. You can't see it until you actually fall. I have tried using the KIlight in this area but it is of little help. Some lighting needs to be added in this area or enable the /fogcolor command. One of those work lights that are in front of the elevator door might work good. Running a cable from the generator up on large courtyard imager might be a problem! LOL!

By the way, when you take this path to the Library, you might hear a loud sound that you may have heard elsewhere in COD. That's all I have to say about that!

Oh but that has been there for ages

I know the dark stairway has been open since or very close to the start of COD. However, I just encountered the scenery holes (twice!) a few days ago.
