Installation: PhysX not recognized

Hello,

I'm trying to install Toc Moul for the first time.
Everytime the installer says it cannot find PhysX on the machine, even after making a fresh installation of it.

I'm running PhysX 09.12.0213 with a Geforce 285GTX on a Windows 7 64bit machine.

Greetings from Vienna,
Neverlands

If you are sure you have the latest PhysX you should be able to skip the installer's dependency check.

Hello Mystler,

thanks for your reply.

If I skip the dependency check, I get the follwoing error during the installation:
TOC MOULa Client wrote:
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.
Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Aloha Neverlands,

Did you download and install the official MOULa client from the Cyan website http://mystonline.com/en/play/ and specify the path to the game during your TOC installation? (it should read something like "MOULa directory").

I'm asking because I get that error while trying to install the TOC launcher without already having the game on my hdd. :)

Hello Al Bina,

I'm having the MOULa client for a long time and as far as the updater says it's quite updated (UruLive.Live.1.912-External.Release).
The name of the folder is "Uru Live".

I'm doing a complete fresh installation right now - hopefully that solves the problem.

It's important, that you have MOULa installed. If you only copy the folder from another (external) drive you should download the Cyan installer and reinstall it. I would also be interested, which System you are running (XP, Vista, 7).

Hello - I posted the system information in my first post ;) It's Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit (Service Pack 1).

The fresh installation worked - Thank you for the help!!
But now the TocMoul.2.7 Updater gives me the following error:
URU Launcher wrote:
File not found on the server:
Data\dat\Garrison_District_grsnWellCameras.prp.gz
There also is no Garrison_District_grsnWellCameras.prp file in the fresh MOULa installation..

Okay, so I'm not alone ... 8-) .

Same here, made a fresh install of Moula, updated it, then ran the TOC-Installer. PhysX was not recognized, though it's the last Version available at Nvidia. I skipped that part, started the launcher as Admin and got the same Error as Neverlands:
File not found on the server:
Data\dat\Garrison_District_grsnWellCameras.prp.gz
System is Win 7 Pro 64-bit / SP1.

Tested it 3 times (uninstalled MOULa and TOC and installed it again), always the same.

Folkher

I would suggest to go int Cyans MOULa into your Garehsen. If anything is wrong there it will be reloaded. After this copy the file into your TOC installation.

@Neverlands Sorry I missed your informations

File not found on the server:
Data\dat\Garrison_District_grsnWellCameras.prp.gz
When you start the TOC Launcher it updates some files from the server. Looks like this one is corrupt, it keeps overwriting my Garrison_District_grsnWellCameras.prp in the \dat folder with a 0 Byte File.
