Bug Report -- GZ Marker Missions

I have now completed marker missions 1-7 and have found this problem on every one of them. When I complete a mission and go back to the GZ and try to register my Ki, it does not remove the marker information from the Ki. If I then go to the calibration room and select another mission and check the Ki, the markers for the previous mission are still recorded. If I go back to the machine and select a different mission and then immediately select the desired mission, the previous markers are cleared and the new mission is loaded.

Additional indications of the problem is if I register my Ki in the machine and go to the calibration machine to select the next mission, no markers are displayed in locations appropriate to that mission.

After seven missions, I don't know if they have been recorded or not. I don't know whether to proceed or not. If I have to do it all over again, it is not worth it to continue.

UPDATE!

I decided to complete the remaining marker missions. When I finished, the marker button on my Ki changed to a circle with a (+) inside it. This is the symbol for creating your own marker mission and it works. So, apparently all the marker mission data got saved successfully even though the Ki machine never showed removing the marker data from the Ki.

Also, that right-side door to the calibration room still sticks open fairly often and the blue marker symbol is still there.

@ Calroger and to other explorers too

This is one of the thing people have the most misunderstanding of...I don't know why and it's quite funny because you're doing the 14 "yellow" missions for nothing afterall

To create a marker game: you need to update your KI O-N-L-Y.

To have a GPS out of your KI in "cavern" ages like Neighborhoods, City: you need to calibrate your KI ;)

Updating your KI means collecting a 1st set of 15 markers (aka green markers) and a 2nd set of 15 markers (aka red markers). That's all! You can now make any marker mission you want from that point

Now if you are masochist...you can work on the 14 GZCM (Great Zero Calibration Missions) to have a GPS.

I hope it will be clear for all of you ;)

Oh... if you want to challenge me on this, anyone,... make over 350 quests, public or private, before challenging me ;)

I'm not a masochist. I truly enjoyed doing the 14 missions.

It's an expression

I've done it at least for a dozen avatars on MOULa. I just find this whole task a bit over the top...

You are supposed to calibrate your KI retrieving 288...yeah you read it right 288 markers. This way your KI will be calibrate and act like a GPS.

Ok fine... but why putting markers at the same location (near barricade in Ferry) in 3 quests??? Over the top.

You got it the 1st time, move on I mean.

Then they make a quest with 11 markers (quest 3). 9 of the markers are in the Library surroundings but 2. You realize...after few plays through that they are linked together in the sense that from the 1st, you see the 2nd, from the 2nd you see the 3rd, etc. But then, which is the 1st marker to grab???? No one knows. I had once to go from the 11th marker and do the "trail" backward to finally find the 1st marker, the supposed initial one! Again, over the top.

I can go all day like that.

And then...what's the final result? A GPS. Great, wonderful! Now try to use it. It's a pain, a real pain.

Try looking let's say for 64500, 79, -82. 1st, you open your KI (press F2, press F2), you look up in your KI screen and you see 1230, 76, -89. "Ok I must be far!" you say. 2nd, you have to close your KI!!!! (press F2), now where to go? move in a direction, and stop, re open your KI (press F2, press F2), you see 69000, 68,-89. "Good Lord!, I'm nearly there!" you say sarcasticly. Repeat that for about 30 mins, you might be able to find the spot (64500, 79, -82).

GPS...yeah right, badly-designed device I say!

In offline version of URU-TPOTS, the GZ coordinates are displayed next to the big Ki any time the Ki is open. I don't like the idea of only having the coordinates display when the Ki message screen is open. How difficult is it to get the TOC version of the Ki to work the same way as the offline version?

oh yes...you are right Calroger :)

I wondered where I saw those coordinates...It was on offline version, we can see them on top corner while walking, running.

Some kind of popup would probably be ideal for that (like the GUI for Jalak) where having the main KI open or closed doesn't effect it...
