The Open Cave

The Open Cave proudly presents our first Wall Tournament!

To celebrate the working Wall, we invite you for some competitive climbing. Alone or together - depending on the number of participants - you can show off your skills, strategies... or even your best fall!
Safety gear Fluffy pillows and band-aids will be provided by the TOC, please bring your own food. No alcohol allowed on the climbing grounds.

The event will be held on June 23th at 9.00 pm CEST (7.00 pm UTC).
Meetup will be at the Contest Hood at 8:45 CEST (6:45 pm UTC). (Just use your Nexus to link there.)

Please sign up in this thread if you'd like to participate. Of course you can also just show up and decide spontaneously to join in the fun.

Um die funktionierende Wall zu feiern, laden wir euch zu einem Kletterwettbewerb ein. Allein oder gemeinsam - je nach Teilnehmerzahl - könnt ihr eure Fähigkeiten, Strategien... oder auch euern schönsten Absturz zeigen!
Schutzkleidung Flauschige Kissen und Pflaster werden vom TOC gestellt, Essen ist selbst mitzubringen. Auf dem Klettergelände herrscht Alkoholverbot.

Der Wettbewerb wird am 23. Juni, um 21 Uhr CEST (7.00 pm UTC) stattfinden.
Bitte findet euch alle gegen 20:45 Uhr CEST (6:45 pm UTC) in der Contest Hood ein. (Benutzt einfach euren Nexus um hinzulinken.)

Wenn ihr teilnehmen möchtet, meldet euch bitte in diesem Thread an. Natürlich könnt ihr trotzdem auch spontan vorbeischauen und bei dem Spaß mitmachen.
Wir hoffen euch alle am Samstag zu sehen!

Well, I think I took sufficient time to consider in order to mull over my participation. It was a difficult decision though, because 9 o'clock in the evening normally is the time I pop out my sleepyhead and preheat the bed with a hot-water bottle. - Reached my age (52), you do it like that!

But, what shall I say, sometimes, you must throw overboard like a foolhardy hero all misgivings regarding a healthy sleep-behavier and just pounce on The Wall! Even though it is late in the night.

So: I will participate!


And as a suggestion:
An in-game KI-Mail from TOC-Team, that informs all players about the tournament, may bring even more participants?

I am 52 as well, but I feel quite young and I found that lots of fun and laughter
are the best medicine as well as a positive and cheerful disposition of course lol,
so, I don't need too much sleep, I can adapt that need to the circumstances at least ...
