TOC is changing my sound settings

I use a Creative Soundblaster Audigy sound card. In the "Surround Mixer", I normally have the WAV slider set high (~90%). When I start TOC, the WAV slider is reset down to about 20%. I have all the game audio setting set at max (right end of scale).

Does anyone know what is causing this interaction and how do I stop it? I am getting tired of having to reset it when I want to play music.

Thanks in advance.

This is a known issue. We don't know why this happens.

I just discovered today that it is the opening movie (title) that is interacting with my sound settings. The instant the movie starts, the sound reduces volume. I hope that help in the troubleshooting.

Personally, I would like to see the opening movie removed and the player selection movie replaced with the original screen used on MOULa and Gehn. It would certainly help with loading speed.

Me perosnally like the TOC intro, especially the music! Everytime i start the game i skip Cyan's intro and watch TOC intro.

Me too, Scarchu, I love the intros and especially the music along with it, this, besides so
much else, is what makes this shard so special and outstanding, as they say 'Changing Uru' ... :P

I also skip Cyan's intro and watch the TOC intro and the beautiful interface for choosing
the player, and I love it, when I've chosen my player avi, that the music is softly fading out ...

This all is again and again so uplifting and relaxing at the same time for me ... Ok, when I've
been thrown out of the CoD several times I log in more fast and skip those intros lol, but when
I decide to roam any Uru version or shard, esp. this one, I take my time and enjoy every bit ... :D

To be more on topic, I have to say that you really have to turn up the volume on this TOC MOUL
shard, but I'm used to it now and I don't mind doing that ... The TOC team knows that as it seems
and will certainly find the reason and solution one day ... :)
