[FIXED] Unable To Log In As A Created Avatar

Hi, 1st, congrats on getting The Open Cave running.

I'd like to mention a problem I am not sure if it's been posted already (if so feel free to move my post / thread to that thread).
After having created my avatar and logging out, when I log back in I cannot log in as my previously created avatar.
I get the following messages:

There has been a network error. If the problem persists, please contact support.

so I click on ok (no other choice), and then I get:

UNTRANSLATED: SetActivePlayer failed: Internal error

again the only choice is to click ok and I crash to the desktop.

I thought it may be that the server thinks that I was still online as that avatar, as I noticed on the server status page that I was still logged in even after I quit ok, but now the status page says all players logged out and I still cannot log in as my previous avatar.

Another player, Cpt Jericho, also had this problem after his client failed to log in correctly (I am not sure what happened, ask Cpt Jericho), and the problem was solved when the avatars were wiped and we had to create new avatars.

I know this isn't the right solution to this, but I thought you may like to know that I was able to delete the faulty avatar and create a new one with exactly the same name, which may be a temporary solution for the time being.

Yeah, that is our problem, at the moment. Suddenly everyone gets the network error when logging in with an existing char. We hope to find out the issue as soon as possible. Anyway, I don't think it's related to a not correctly logged off player but i'll investigate.

Another player, Cpt Jericho, also had this problem after his client failed to log in correctly (I am not sure what happened, ask Cpt Jericho), and the problem was solved when the avatars were wiped and we had to create new avatars.

It happened after I tried to leave the wardrobe after some make-overs. I didn't get the loader image, lost patience and aborted TOC - after that I couldn't link in as Cpt.Jericho anymore. I have created a new Cpt. after the old one was deleted and it works at the moment.
