Without any more details than his statement, there is in no way it is related to the quote :|

Anyway, I said earlier that I tried to downgrade the Physx drivers to version 2.6.4 - couldn't find that one on the net (and they say that the internet never forgets). So I took the next higher version which is 2.7. Same result - no way into the cave. The interesting part of it is that this driver package is by Aegia and not by Nvidia - so neither AMD nor Nvidia GPUs are supported - the calculation is done by the CPU.

Opa, Thank you for your feedback. I have another question, when you do the second ladder decent into the cistern on Teledahn, or the final ladder decent in the cleft, does the camera follow you'r avatar down, as in MOULa, or does it simply look at floor, while your avatar descends blindly? The reason I ask this is to make sure that this is a universal effective code change made by the new PhysX on the server files, and not another local phenomena, like the caves.
Edit. I also would like to know if my problem with the Gahreesen control room where it takes me 2 tries to get in every time I set up a new avatar, and my similar problem with the cleft post, where I have to touch it then go away and return for it to open, are universal, or local.

The thing with the ladders is related to PhysX. The newer PhysX don't like the Cameraregions from MOULa. I think the problem with the controlroom is also related to PhysX, but I'm not sure. The GOW is currently working on porting MOULa to bullet (an other physics engine). Then this all should be fixed. But this can take months...

Thanks again for the quick response. I guess this makes my video card theory a moot point, as hopefully the caves will work properly along with the camera angels with the bullet physics engine. I had been hoping to get my Yeesha shirt from TOC by my birthday, but I guess I'll just have to wait.

Cpt-Jericho wrote:And why do you feel the need to quote me to tell us that you (as most others) can't access any the Bahro caves?
You said you could get to some caves...I cannot..that is all..I apologize if that upset you...After this post I promise I'll never quote you again..even if you become the leader of the free world

Hey, as I said, we didn't find out why some players can access the caves and others cannot, yet. Every idea is just speculation. Please stay calm.

Mystler, thank you for rejoining this topic. Now if you would post your GPU info, like Opa did, it would be greatly appreciated. I realize that the Bahro cave problem should be over when the new physics engine takes affect, and that even if my graphic card theory were correct, that it probably would not be fixable with the current physics engine, but sense you are the only one on record besides Opa who can git into all the Bahro caves, it would be nice to Know what graphic card you use.
Thank you in advance, and good luck to all

EDIT: I talked to someone of the GOW. Does someone of you use LAV splitter? And we need more informations about your systems, not only the graphiccards (the best would be a dxdiag-report, like Mystler made) Another thing: does someone use Uru with multiple cores?
