The Open Cave

It took me a while to get the game to run. I managed to create my avatar, play a bit of the Cleft and went back to my relto where I clicked on my bevin book. It was then the game crashed. Now when I login I get to the global load screen and it freezes. None of the start up solutions address this ...

I am unable to connect. I click on the UruLauncher, the connecting to server screen comes up then nothing. And when I click on the launcher again it says Open Cave is already running. To stop it running (wherever it is) I have to restart my pc. I have tried this several times. I can't find anything ...
